Delish 2.0.2 Available with new Icon

by Jason Harwig ~ April 11th, 2012

Introducing the new Broccoli…

I’ve contracted to kaishinlab.com to redesign the broccoli for Delish’s icon. The original was created by me in Inkscape and should have been updated long ago.

This release also includes a fix to a bug in which the login prompt would present itself again despite a successful login.

Update to Delish 2.0.2 on the Mac App Store.

Delish 2.0 Submitted to Mac App Store

by Jason Harwig ~ February 23rd, 2012

UPDATE: Delish is now available on the App Store

It’s been a long time coming, but today I submitted the next major version of Delish to the Mac App Store – Delish 2.0.

The highlights of this release:

  • Bookmarks can be created, edited, deleted.
  • Tags can be renamed or deleted.
  • Pinboard.in accounts are supported.
  • All activity to webservice is asynchronous, and changes can even be made offline.
  • Runs in a OS X sandbox
  • Create Bookmark OS X service with the key equivalent ⇧+⌘+E
  • Drag and Drop to open or create new bookmark
  • Activity view for screenshot progress and web service asynchronous tasks

This release will be sold exclusively through the Mac App Store. Maintaining two versions is just not something I want to spend time on, and while the App Store has stricter rules, Delish is an application that fits very well into the new application sandbox. I will offer free upgrades to those who purchased Delish after December 1, 2011.

I hope you enjoy as much as I do,

-jason

Delish 1.0.4.2 Release fixes Yahoo Authorization

by Jason Harwig ~ September 15th, 2010

A couple days ago, Yahoo made a change to their OAuth security policy that breaks the method in which Delish asks for authorization.

The updated version conforms to Yahoo’s new policy.

Yahoo OAuth Support and Snow Leopard Support in 1.0.4

by Jason Harwig ~ February 11th, 2010

I know some users were curious if active development is continuing on Delish. I can assure you that the next major version (1.1) is coming along nicely. I had to divert energy for a 1.0.4 release after delicious.com announced a change to their login process on their blog. The login process doesn’t change for existing users, but new users are required to create a Yahoo account.

The release is available now, download Delish 1.0.4, or click the Delish menu and check for updates.

Safari 4 Beta Compatibility

by Jason Harwig ~ February 25th, 2009

Apple recently released a Safari 4 Beta, unfortunately it changed the behavior of the WebView component I use to generate screenshots. This resulted in a crash shortly after Delish starts. Read more about the issue on Peter’s blog.

I’ve released 1.0.3.3 to resolve the issue. Since the crasher prevents checking for updates, download the update here:

Delish 1.0.3.2

by Jason Harwig ~ December 15th, 2008

After the 1.0.3 releases, I’ve gotten a couple of emails from people who have experienced random crashes. The last couple days I’ve reviewed crash logs, trying to reproduce the problem. Today, I’m releasing 1.0.3.2 which addresses those crashes. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Thanks to Deb and Steven for bringing this to my attention

Delish 1.0.2

by Jason Harwig ~ August 23rd, 2008

Just a quick note that I pushed out a new version of Delish. It’s hopefully the last release before 1.1. More on that release soon.

Some bug fixes and small improvements listed in the changelog.

Smart Bundle Update

by Jason Harwig ~ July 11th, 2008

I released a small update (1.0.1) to Delish yesterday. The release fixed some issues with editing smart bundles, but also added something I think will make them more useful: Date expressions. Watch the screencast for more details:
